One of the best weekend markets is in downtown Saint Petersburg which is also one of the coolest spots in TampaBay. Go to the market and sample every conceivable taste, aroma or sound and enjoy the best people watching in the area. When you are all done keep your car parked and take a stroll along the beautiful park as you walk north toward the Vinoy Hotel. After you’ve had that very comfortable jaunt reverse course and sample any one of 6 to 12 restaurants overlooking the park. The choice is always great and the people watching continues. You could, of course, sample the museums and art galleries as well. It’s a 45-minute drive from central Pasco and, on Saturday, Highway 275 is okay.
